Supriyanto is a young geophysicist from Department of Physics, the University of Indonesia. He is Head of the Laboratory of Geophysical Modeling and Head of G7 Research Groups. After undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in physics at the University of Indonesia in 2002, he has taken his doctoral program in the field of geothermal modeling under supervision of Prof. Keisuke Ushijima at Engineering Geophysics Laboratory, Department of Earth Resources Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyushu University, Fukuoka, Japan. And starting from 16 April 2009 until 15 November 2009, he was getting involved in the geothermal research group with International Centre for Science and High Technology, United Nations Industrial Development Organization (ICS-UNIDO) in Trieste, Italy.
